Q: So Aleister, what do you think of the modern poetry being released
today?
Aleister: I’m actually quite a fan, not just of today’s poetry but the meaning behind modern poetry. Very few people write out of religious fear and instead write for pleasure, which to be honest, is quite a breath of fresh air.
Q: You’ve been known to have drug habits back in your day, can you explain why drugs were so prevalent in your life?
Aleister: Well, to say the least I’ve had my fair share of drug experiences in my life. I have experimented with most drugs that were readily available to me in my age, some prescribed to me medically and others for recreational and magical use. Some of the recreational drugs I have experimented with include cocaine, mescaline, ether, alcohol, opium and cannabis, yet I was also prescribed heroin back in the day to assist with my bronchitis and asthma.
Q: You’re religious views and beliefs are quite peculiar to say the least, would you like to clear the air about some of your spiritual views?
Aleister: I was born in a Christian family but I never really believed Christianity was the right religion. There are gaps in the story that people just cannot explain. So, as a young adult, I searched for more in life, and found the ‘Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’and the ‘Ordo Templi Orientis’, both I found
quite fulfilling at the time. Another thing people know about me is that I put magical beliefs ahead of scientific ‘facts’. I believe it was me who said “Science is always discovering odd scraps of magical wisdom and making a tremendous fuss about its cleverness.”.
Q: You’ve been quoted saying you would like to be the devil’s chief of staff, would you like to explain these comments?
Aleister: People often mistake me for being satanic and evil but I do not actually ‘hail satan’ as most believe. I believe people should do what makes them happy whilst ignoring the religious consequences. It just so happens that the views of Satan on this matter correspond to mine. That is why I made this comment, not to make myself seem demonic, but to express my views on the meaning of life.
Q: So Aleister, can you explain your involvement in cults such as The Golden Dawn and Ordo Templi Orientis?
Aleister: Well, I was deeply involved in both cults, but mainly the Ordo Templi. I reached the X (10th) degree in the O.T. and became the Grand Master of English speaking section, called the Mysteria Mystica Maxima. After a few years at this rank I decided to introduce the practice of male homosexuality
sex magic. It was one of the highest degrees of the order. I was also a hermetist in The Golden Dawn, and was so for a number of years.
Q: Some of your views on women have seemed to be quite politically incorrect to say the least, would you like to expand?
Aleister: Women are born how they are. It is nobody’s fault that men are superior beings, that’s just how it is.
Q: Well you don’t seem to have much respect for women, considering the abuse and rituals they receive from you constantly. Why do you do these
things?
Aleister: Well I do these things because I enjoy them. What is the meaning of life if it is
not meant to be enjoyed?
